Keeping your customers happy while growing your business.

American's are driving more than ever and some vehicles are equipped to go the distance. iSeeCars.com a website that aggregates 30 million used car listings from all around the country, recently looked for all of the vehicles housed on its website from 1981-2010 that have more than 200,000 miles on the odometer in order to see which models are really going the distance for their owners. The findings, which list the 12 models with the highest percentage of 200,000-mile travelers, are quite interesting. Only one car made the list, the Honda Accord. All the rest are either trucks or SUVs.

Air Filter Show & Tell: Seeing Is Believing

Air filters are normal wear items that require regular checks and replacement.

Their role is to trap dirt particles that can cause damage to engine cylinders, walls, pistons and piston rings. In fuel-injected vehicles, the air filter also plays a role in keeping contaminants off the airflow sensor.

The engine management system can compensate for a dirty air filter up to a point, but when the restriction becomes too great, engine performance and fuel economy begin to suffer.
