How To Keep Your Diesel Exhaust Fluid from Voiding Your Warranty

Your warranty can be voided simply by using incorrect or contaminated Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). Be sure to use the correct DEF designated for your vehicle, as different trucks have different specifications. Correctly stored DEF has a shelf life of around 18 months. This means it should be stored in temperatures above 77 degrees F. Temperatures above this will significantly reduce its shelf life, wasting your time and money. You should watch for water, dirt, and other contaminants which will ruin DEF and void your warranty as well.

Are you a Tweeter?

No probably not, after all why should you be? You just recently learned about Facebook and you really see no value in that so why bother with Twitter? You are not alone, this is a common misperception in every industry not just the automotive industry. Here are the top three reasons Twitter should be part of your marketing plan:

Quick Facts

The California Bureau of Automotive Repair receives around 25,000 automobile repair complaints a year. Since the only people who file complaints are those who know they have been ripped off, the actual number of auto repair fraud victims in California is probably much higher. Make sure you are talking to your customer about their needed repairs and what each cost on their bill is. This will increase loyalty and reduce unhappy clients.

Customer Focus

People shop and buy in a totally different way than they did just a few years ago. People also learn and refer in a different way. What is truly important is that you market in a different way. People are very cost conservative right now. What that means is you have to in essence buy their business.

Vendor Setup

The Vendor Setup selection from the Setup menu opens the Vendor Setup dialog box. You are able to add or delete Vendors, or edit Vendor information from this panel.

To add a New Vendor:
